Our surveys
The Observatory of the Paris Samusocial's surveys
The Observatory conducts scientific studies into homelessness. They focus on populations, their trajectories and their lifestyles; on field workers, their actions and coordination arrangements; and on public policy, from decision-making process to implementation.
Each year, a program of activities is established, based on emerging issues and challenges.
Our research uses a variety of disciplinary skills. Through the course of research, epidemiologists, statisticians, demographers, sociologists, anthropologists, or psychologists join our team.
Our inquiries extend over a period of one to three years. Public and private partners finance them. Each study is supervised by a steering committee, consisting of field workers, institutional representatives, and researchers.
This research produces as a result various documents, reports, and protocol publications.
In this section, you can access the various research documents led by the Observatory since 2003.
